If you’ve been following along on our decentralized journey, you know by now that the NFT industry knows no limits. We were thrilled to hop state lines and drop in at Outer Edge LA (formerly NFT LA) in late March. Our monkeys represented Metagood as they always do, with unmatched energy and a zest for all things NFT. Let’s get into the recap!
Co-founder and CEO of Metagood, Amanda Terry, joined Jon Vlassopulos, CEO of Napster, and Roger Chabra, CEO of T3MP0 for a live discussion on revolutionizing play with NFTs. Moderated by Jesse Dylan, co-founder of Snowcrash, this talk was an enlightening look at the value of building communities united in pushing the limits of new technologies while having unbound fun.
While we’re on the topic of fun, we had an out-of-this-world IRL meetup for our OCM DAO at Truly LA, and in California fashion, it was nothing but good vibes with a true-to-form Jungle theme to get our monkeys in the banana-spirit. It was another progressive step forward in progressive decentralization as the event was fully planned by our community members and funded by our DAO! Check out the video here!
Jungle nights aside, we were also honored to launch an exhibition in the Crypt Gallery, the first NFT gallery in the hospitality industry, which is housed in the Dream Hotel Los Angeles. With expert curation by resident banana-holder, @ontheintern3t, this digital installation of OCM NFTs had a few tricks up its sleeve, that were only visible to those viewing the collection in person.
